Alexander Daniels are working with a business located in Warwick who are seeking a Team Leader for their administration and junior finance team.

The team, consisting of 3 members, are responsible for the collation and accuracy of the high levels of orders placed and processed weekly. The Team Leader is there to support with an queries, resolutions and to ensure the team are kept motivated and deliver numbers to tight deadines.

Role Objectives:

  • Weekly preparation/review of unit returns for individual contracts
  • Monthly preparation of trading account results for individual contracts
  • Management and effective supervision of accounts personnel as designated to your area of responsibility
  • Daily monitoring of internal email correspondence
  • Ensuring all unit based company paperwork is received within strict deadlines and the reporting of to relevant Managers
  • To assist Operations Managers in the monthly monitoring of income and costs against budget and forecasts and to promote the focus on increasing profitability and efficiency by challenging current practices
  • Assisting and resolving of unit paperwork problems with the wider accounts and operational team
  • Day to day administration of postings to the nominal ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of the unit catering contract’s cash movement
  • Various ad-hoc financial analysis
  • To liaise with external parties in relation to any queries which may arise
  • To maintain and update various financial models
  • To maintain user access and level of authority on the company job costing system
  • To ensure the company job costing system is kept up to date by the units to ensure all records are accurately recorded
  • To be part of the overall accounts department ensuring that the department as a whole maintains the highest level of integrity and service. This will involve the answering of telephones, efficient / effective filing, a clean desk policy and all other aspects that encourage the professional service provision to internal & external customers
  • Assisting with the training of abm colleagues on the company job costing system
  • Internal Audit visits to operational sites to ensure compliance with Company procedures
  • Any other reasonable activities at the request of the Finance & Operations Coordinator
  • To complete any other duties or reasonable request made by a member of Senior Management Team or client
