Role: Part-time Finance Business Partner
Hours: 3 full days per week, including homeworking
Package: £45,000 pro rata
Target Start date: Monday 5 October (flexible)
Part-Time Finance Business Partner required for for a leading business to support the programme delivery team that drives trade, tourism and investment (TTI) for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. This role is part-time at 3 days per week, and these 3 days can be structured however you like, including homeworking.
Supporting one of the largest and most complex projects currently within the delivery of the Games, we are looking for a qualified accountant who can act as a confident bridge between financial reporting/FP&A and business partnering with the external stakeholders (predominantly a public sector background, but very dynamic and commercial in nature). The role will see you taking an active part in budgeting and cash flow forecasting for your projects, and maintaining ownership of bottom-up reporting.
The role reports into an incredibly warm and bubbly Head of Finance, and also due to the partnering angle, we are looking for bright personalities – no shrinking violets!
To be suitable for this role, you must have the following:
- MUST be a qualified (ACA, ACMA, ACCA or CIPFA) accountant
- Have experience in contract-led businesses
- Be strong on FP&A accounting including experience setting up your own forecasting models
- Be a confident business partner
- Be available to start on a one month notice or shorter notice period
