Finance Manager required for a leading distrbution / logistics business to support their ongoing operations in the Buckinghamshire region. As a regional role, this position will support both the finance and operations teams for a number of sites across the Bucks county, reporting into a Group Head of Finance in the corporate head office. You’ll be primarily based around Milton Keynes / Luton / Dunstable / Aylesbury region, with frequent travel to these and surrounding sites.
On offer for this role is an excellent package of up to £60,000 plus car allowance and a healthy 10% bonus that has paid out at 100% for the past three years due to continued success.
You will be responsible for the management accounts and financial budgeting for a number of contracts over the sites you manage. There is also a hefty business partnering angle to the role that will see you being the main point of contact for the on-site teams, as well as the senior operations managers. The overall aim of the role will be to introduce efficiencies and improve financial performance across the sites.
You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) with a background in product-led businesses (retail, wholesale, logistics or distribution). You should be a strong and confident business partner with a history in improving financial success with commercial and operational accumen, as well as having the technical ability to lead the financial reporting for a multi-site operation.
