Alexander Daniels are working with a large company based in Birmingham. They are looking for a German speaking Payroll Administrator.

This is a chance to join at an important hance to join at an important growth stage in Europe and with real responsibility for their German operation you will gain further payroll experience, being very transferable and a great thing to get into

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sitting within the payroll team and supporting a few hundred employees who are on the German payroll
  • Performing transactional payroll activities
  • Providing a great service to these internal employees and answering their queries
  • Dealing with expenses and travel reimbursements
  • Processing changes of salary, changes of tax codes etc.
  • Dealing with pension and private health deductions and submissions
  • Liaising with their outsourced payroll provider
  • Extracting necessary information for the payroll provider to process


  • If you have experience in payroll, that would be very much preferred
  • Someone who knows about working in Germany, and has some knowledge of the benefits and tax codes etc. within the country. Even if this is just as a worker yourself in Germany.
  • Administration or HR experience would be great
  • Someone with good Excel skills
