Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator for a fast-paced business based in Walsall on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a small and friendly team and be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process across 8 payrolls. Your day to day duties will include;

  • Processing complex payrolls of over 5,000 workers of various shift patterns
  • Calculating statutory payments, holiday pay requests and overtime
  • Processing high volumes of starters and leavers
  • Verify and balancing of payroll totals, student loan reports and tax deductions
  • Generating BACS files for approval and ensuring everyone is paid accurately and on time
  • Dealing with queries from employees and other 3rd parties and resolving them as quickly and efficiently as possible

The perfect candidate will have previous experience processing payrolls from start to finish within a similar sized operation (5,000 employees minimum) using a computerised payroll system and a good eye for detail.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity where you will be expected to go into the office for the first 3 months for training, after which you are free to work from home or the office as preferred.
